Why the dryer can help
Tumbling separates fabrics and can dislodge already-loose hair. The lint screen then catches some of the debris carried by airflow.
What the dryer cannot solve
Hair woven into fleece or clinging tightly to a static-prone garment may survive a normal cycle. Overstuffing also limits fabric movement.
Safety and fabric care come first
Only tumble-dry items whose care labels allow it. Clean the lint screen after fur-heavy loads and follow the appliance manufacturer’s maintenance guidance.
Combine this with a better wash routine rather than relying on the dryer alone.
